RoadSurge.com V3 Simple Installation Instructions

  1. Disconnect Negative terminal on battery

  2. Locate TCU (Also known as Transmission Control Unit) or plugs that went into the TCU

  3. Cut both power supply wires to TCU at least 3 to 4 inches away from the plug (Refer to below wire colors)

  4. Join both power wires from the plug together as one

  5. Join both power wires from the harness together as one

  6. * If you do not have a TCU and don't plan on running one, simply connect the Red wire from the shift box directly to the power wire connection on the harness and skip the next 3 steps.

  7. If you have a TCU, using the supplied Auto / Manual switch, connect the Green wire from the switch to the power wire connection on the harness you just spliced together.

  8. Connect one of the Red wires from the Auto / Manual switch to the power wire connection on the plug you just spliced together. Either Red wire will work.

  9. Connect the other Red wire from the Auto / Manual switch to the Red wire on the Shift Box harness.

  10. * If you don't plan on running a TCU, simply connect the Shift Box solenoid "A" and "B" wires directly the "A" and "B" solenoid wires on the harness (Tap or splice) and skip the next 5 steps.

  11. Cut the solenoid "A" wire to the TCU at least 3 to 4 inches away from the plug (Refer to below wire colors)

  12. If you are running a TCU, connect the green wire on one of the supplied blocking diodes to the solenoid wire on the harness.

  13. Connect either one of the Red wires on the blocking diodes to the solenoid wire on the TCU plug.

  14. Connect the Shift Box solenoid "A" wire to the other unconnected Red wire on the blocking diode.
